Please read carefully and prepare for the New York State written test certification materials
From December 16, 2019, New York State's "Greenlight NY" law (Greenlight NY) has come into effect, and undocumented immigrants can apply for a New York State driver's license without a social security number.
New York State is the 13th state in the United States to provide driver's licenses for undocumented immigrants.
Applicants do not need a Social Security number to apply to the state Department of Motor Vehicles (DMV) for a regular driver's license, which is a New York State-recognized ID card that does not serve federal purposes and cannot be used to fly.
DMV will not ask about the applicant's immigration status, and does not require the applicant to show a social security card. The applicant only needs to indicate on an affidavit (Affidavit) that he does not have a social security card. All applicants need to submit proof of address and identity, but DMV will not keep these documents, nor will they keep copies of the documents. After the staff have reviewed the documents and confirmed their authenticity, they will return the documents to the applicants. The procedures for undocumented immigrants to apply for a New York State ordinary driver's license are the same as those for undocumented immigrants. They need to pass a written test and a road test, and pay the same fee.
New York State's Green Light Law has the strongest provisions protecting applicants, who don't have to worry about DMV sharing information with federal Immigration and Customs Enforcement. Applicants only need to show on an affidavit (Affidavit) that they do not have a Social Security card. All applicants need to submit proof of address and identity, but DMV will not keep these documents, nor will they keep copies of the documents. After the staff have reviewed the documents and confirmed their authenticity, they will return the documents to the applicants. DMV does not require applicants to show their social security cards. Applicants only need to download an affidavit from the DMV website and sign it without providing any sensitive information. In the future, the procedures for undocumented immigrants to apply for a New York State ordinary driver's license will be the same as those for immigrants with status. They will need to pass a written test and a road test, and the fee will be the same.

2) The proof material consists of at least two parts A+B , with at least one part for each part A and part B Evidence.

5) In addition, there is already a non-learning driver's license ID issued by the Transportation Bureau , it is enough for 6 points, just bring your ID
